The Nazarene Well House

The Nazarene Well House has remained open throughout the pandemic. We are operating at half capacity which means only rooms with private baths are being scheduled. As of May 17, we encourage anyone who is immunocompromised or not vaccinated to wear a mask in common areas.
The Nazarene Well House offers quality, affordable, bed & breakfast style accommodations for the patient or their family utilizing the major medical facilities in Rochester, MN. Our mission is to provide temporary housing accommodations to medical treatment recipients and their families while being treated in the Rochester, MN facilities along with and moral and spiritual support when requested. Families and children are welcome and allowed to stay even if the patient is in the hospital.
The Nazarene Well House offers 13 bedrooms (5 with private bathrooms), laundry facilities, a shared well-equipped kitchen, wireless internet, cable television in lower commons area, off-street parking, free local and long distance calling, a light continental breakfast donated by local bakeries, and a limited number of lunch style meals are occasionally donated by a local Italian restaurant. Second floor rooms and lower commons room are accessed by stairs. Pets are not allowed.
There are no transportation services offered through this residence. The house is within a mile of the major medical services. Public transportation is within 2 blocks and taxi or Uber services are available.
If you or your family member are a patient and interested in staying with us during your visit, please call Catherine at (507) 282-6792 to be added to our waiting list. Since our guests often need to extend their stays we cannot make reservations until about 3 days before arrival. If you have not heard from us 3 days prior to arrival please call to to confirm if we have availability.
Effective August 1, 2018: pricing for a room with a private bath is $45 per night. Pricing for a room with a shared bath is $35 per night. There are no additional charges or taxes added to the room price. A one night non-refundable deposit is required before a room can be reserved (rooms are not able to be cancelled without loss of deposit after they have been reserved). This deposit will become a one night credit off your final room total during your stay.
